This Privacy Policy explains how SideHustlz (“SideHustlz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit https://sidehustlz.com (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by SideHustlz, based in Pakistan.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
SideHustlz is an online publication that provides articles, guides, reviews, and free calculators related to side hustles, freelancing, and online income. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, you can reach us at:
- Email: hello@sidehustlz.com
- Postal contact (on request): available by emailing the address above.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and information from third-party services.
a) Information you provide directly. When you subscribe to our newsletter, fill out our contact form, or comment on an article, you may share your name, email address, and the content of your message. We only collect what is necessary to respond to you or deliver the service you requested.
b) Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and analytics tools automatically log your IP address, approximate location (city/country level), browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 4.
c) Information from third parties. Our advertising and analytics partners (described in Section 5) may share aggregated or pseudonymous information with us about how visitors interact with the Site and the ads shown on it.
We do not knowingly collect bank account numbers, credit card details, social security numbers, passport numbers, or other sensitive financial or government identifiers. Please do not send us that information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
- Send the newsletter and other communications you have requested (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email);
- Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form;
- Measure traffic, understand which articles are useful, and detect technical issues;
- Display relevant advertising through third-party advertising partners;
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights, safety, and property of SideHustlz, our users, and the public.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics activities described below may be considered “sharing” or “selling” under certain U.S. state laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA); see Section 8 for your opt-out rights.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
A “cookie” is a small text file stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage) for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Site to function (for example, to remember your cookie preferences).
- Analytics cookies: help us understand traffic patterns and improve content. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
- Advertising cookies: used by Google AdSense and other advertising partners to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
5. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics
Google AdSense. We may use Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements on the Site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other sites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads, and you may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting https://www.aboutads.info/choices.
Other advertising partners. We may also work with additional ad networks or ad management platforms (such as Ezoic, Mediavine, or similar). These partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Site and other websites in order to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which you can review on their websites.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as how often users visit, what pages they view, and what other sites they used prior to coming to our Site. Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Affiliate Links
The Site contains affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks and merchants we partner with may set their own cookies on your browser to track referrals. Our recommendations are based on independent assessment, and affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial opinions. For more detail, please see our Affiliate Disclosure.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: with vendors who help us operate the Site, such as our hosting provider, email newsletter platform, analytics provider, and advertising partners. They are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
- Legal compliance: when required to comply with a law, regulation, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SideHustlz, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
- With your consent: in any other case where you give us explicit permission.
8. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. The legal bases on which we process your data are consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (for analytics and site improvement), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Users in California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and share; request deletion of personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sidehustlz.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”
Users in other U.S. states with privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others). You may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising. Please email us using the address above to make a request.
To make any privacy request, contact hello@sidehustlz.com from the email address associated with your activity on the Site so we can verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please email hello@sidehustlz.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics (currently 14 months).
11. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The Site uses HTTPS to encrypt data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International Data Transfers
If you access the Site from outside the country in which our servers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries with data protection laws different from your own. By using the Site, you consent to such transfer. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can control tracking through the cookie and opt-out tools described in Sections 4 and 5.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site or by email if you are a newsletter subscriber. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
