Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Ali Raza, the founder of SideHustlz. I’ve spent the last several years testing side hustles hands-on — from freelance writing and Pinterest affiliate marketing to selling digital printables on Etsy and reviewing the earnings potential of gig-economy platforms like Turo, Boatsetter, and Swimply.

I started SideHustlz because almost every “side hustle” article I read online was the same recycled list: surveys, dog walking, drop-shipping, repeat. The numbers were usually made up. The strategies rarely matched how those platforms actually worked in 2025 and 2026. I wanted a place where you could find honest answers: what earns fastest, what’s realistic for a beginner, what’s oversaturated, and which platforms are actually worth your time.

How We Create Our Content

Every guide on SideHustlz is written with the same editorial standards:

  • Personal testing first. Where possible, I sign up for, use, and document the platforms myself — including their fees, payout times, and quirks most reviewers skip.
  • Verified data second. If I haven’t personally used a platform, I research primary sources: official policy pages, user forums (Reddit, Trustpilot), platform founder interviews, and real income reports from verified creators.
  • Updated regularly. Pricing, features, and payout structures change fast in the side-hustle world. When they change, I update the article and note the revision.
  • No quid-pro-quo reviews. If an affiliate program asks me to soften a review in exchange for a partnership, I decline. My reviews are not for sale.

How We Make Money
